Some things I've built.

I'm Carlo Ruggiero, a software developer with more than a decade of experience. These are the four projects I keep going: one is open source, one is free and hosted, and two are licensed.

CloudBank

A free, self-hosted personal finance manager — a from-scratch web port of HomeBank, now at v3.2.0. Accounts, a powerful register, scheduled transactions, budgets and reports, plus automatic bank sync, savings goals and bills.

It installs to your phone or desktop as a PWA, supports two-factor auth, and offers opt-in AI entry with your own key. One Docker container, your data in a file you control, AGPL-3.0.

CloudBank dashboard with today's balance, income and spending, a panel of things that need attention and an income versus expense chart — The dashboard is a free-form grid — place and resize any widget.

Planora

A mobile-first shared activity planner for friends, family, couples and teams. The group keeps a shared backlog of ideas; when someone hits Organize, a wizard walks everyone through date voting, the event itself and the feedback after.

Nutreek

A self-hosted weekly nutrition planner. Build a week of meals from ingredients and recipes and it computes calories, protein, carbs and fat per meal, per day and per week, against your targets.

Ingredient search runs offline against a local OpenFoodFacts index. Adaptive TDEE keeps your targets honest, and coach mode manages plans for other people. One Go binary, or one container.
