Projects / Donate
Entirely optional, and much appreciated.
Donate
If something I've made has been useful to you, and you'd like to help with what comes next, this is the place. Thank you for even considering it.
- Buy me a coffee — a small one-off, no account needed.
- GitHub Sponsors — monthly or one-off, right next to the code.
- PayPal — a one-off amount, if you already have an account.
- Liberapay — recurring, and run as a non-profit itself.
What it supports
Donations go towards building and releasing more software, and towards releasing more of it openly. Open source is the part of this work I enjoy most, and support is what makes it easier to keep choosing.
- The time to build things properly
- Getting something finished, and then keeping it maintained, takes rather more evenings than a first release suggests. Support is what keeps that going.
- More of it in the open
- There are projects I would like to work on publicly, and nothing that is closed today is closed forever — opening more of it up later is something I would like to do.
- Somewhere to run it
- Hosting for the apps I run for people and for the demos, so anyone can try something without installing it first.
Nothing is taken on this site. Each button hands you to that service, which handles the payment. This page never asks for card details, and there is no backend here that could receive them.
Or help without paying
Just as welcome, and sometimes worth more:
- Tell me what breaks
- A clear report with steps to reproduce is genuinely valuable. Issues go on GitHub.
- Mention it to someone
- A word in the right place reaches further than anything I can post myself.
- Translate something
- What I release ships in English and Italian. Another language is always a welcome pull request.
- Just say hello
- Hearing that something is being used, and what for, is a good reason to keep going.
