Planora

What it is

Planora is a shared activity planner for groups of friends, family, couples and teams. It exists to eliminate indecision: instead of endlessly asking what to do this weekend, a group continuously builds a shared backlog of ideas. When someone is ready to make one happen, they hit Organize and a guided wizard drives the whole group through the full lifecycle of an outing.

Groups and roles

Create groups with Owner, Admin and Member roles, invite links and codes, transfer ownership, and leave or remove members.

Activity backlog

Rich activities with category, tags, difficulty, links, address and map, cost and photos — plus global search and filtering.

Organize wizard

Pick participants, propose dates, and collect live Available, Maybe and Not votes with automatic winner and tie handling. A suggestion engine and a Surprise Mode keep the details hidden until the reveal.

Events and calendar

Confirm events, get day-before and two-hours-before reminders, browse a month or week calendar, and export to ICS or Google and Apple calendars.

After the event

Add photos and notes, leave star feedback on whether you'd do it again, and keep a history with completion counts and average ratings — or duplicate an outing to run it again.

Dashboard and stats

Totals, most active member, favourite category, average monthly events, average rating, estimated spend and places visited.

Notifications

In-app notification centre with an unread badge, plus optional email (SMTP) and web push (VAPID), gated by per-user preferences.

Works offline

A local cache of core data lets you read offline, while an outbox queues your changes and syncs them when you reconnect.
